UNHCR

UNHCR is the UN refugee agency who leads international action to protect people forced to flee their homes because of conflict and persecution. We deliver life-saving assistance like shelter, food and water, help safeguard fundamental human rights, and develop solutions that ensure people have a safe place to call home where they can build a better future.

Sweden for UNHCR is UNHCR's national partner. Sweden for UNHCR raises money from the private sector – from companies, foundations and individuals – and raises awareness of people who are forced to flee.

Hand in Hand

Hand in Hand is a development organisation that combats poverty by primarily supporting poor and vulnerable women. Through entrepreneurship, vocational training and access to micro loans, people can start their own businesses, escape from poverty and put food on the family table.

Thanks to small family-owned companies, a whole family’s situation changes. Women have an important social and economic impact on both society and family, and Hand in Hand therefore sees them as the key to eradicating poverty.

Doctors Without Borders (MSF)

MSF is a medical humanitarian organisation that saves lives and provides assistance where it is needed the most. We help people affected by crises, war and natural disasters, regardless of political opinion, religion or ethnicity.
