TeamOlmed is a merger of two companies that adapt and market orthopaedic devices.
TeamOlmed comprises Olmed Ortopediska and Team Ortopedteknik. The company produces, adapts and equips patients with orthopaedic devices in e.g. Stockholm, Uppsala, Halland, Kalmar and Kronoberg counties. In addition, TeamOlmed runs the retail chains Fot & Skospecialisten and Fotexperten which specialise in orthopaedic shoes and inserts.?
Development after acquisition by Volati
Volati acquired Olmed Ortopediska in 2009 and Team Ortopedteknik in 2010. Now these two operations have been merged to form TeamOlmed.
After Volati’s acquisition the expansion within TeamOlmed has continued and the company has, for example, won the contract to run orthopaedic engineering activities for additional local authorities.
After this acquisition, TeamOlmed has continued to invest in modern manufacturing facilities in order to modernise production. So as to further streamline and update the operations a joint IT platform has been implemented across the whole company.
